Appeals

There is a general right of appeal when a visa application is refused. Appeals must be submitted in writing and received by the Irish Immigration Service within two calendar months from the date of the decision.

Applicants may provide additional documents and supporting information with their appeal. Wherever possible, the appeal will be reviewed by a different officer who was not involved in making the original decision.
